WELCOME!

We of the Leesville United Methodist Church hope that you will take a look around at some of our ministries and find for yourself a place to be.

We call LUMC "A FAMILY OF FAITH... FOR YOU" because that is what we are. First and foremost LUMC is a place where, in this impersonal and fragmented world, each of us can belong. Here we discover that we belong to the family of God, the church, and to one another.

You can become as involved as you like - from worshipping on Sunday mornings to belonging to study groups, to fellowship groups, to working in one of our several service groups, to teaching Sunday School, to any of a dozen opportunities for involvement. I have discovered over the years that church provides an opportunity for us all to participate at our own level. Here at LUMC it is all OK!

Our congregation is diverse in many ways. We represent the whole age spectrum from infants and toddlers to very senior citizens. There are singles and families, children and youth. There are many newcomers. LUMC continues to grow. Many of our members are new from two years to a matter of weeks. There are also many "old timers." Many of our members have been a part of LUMC for thirty and more years. In a community that is growing as rapidly as ours, it is good to have those who bring a sense of continuity and history to our midst.

New comers to the area find at LUMC a warm, friendly and caring community of faith. We want to invite you to take a look at some of our church's programs and ministries and then come visit us.
