Art
Baker to Speaks at Leesville United Methodist
By:
Fernando Iglesias
Coach Art Baker was the guest speaker at LUMC's
United Methodist Men's meeting held at the church's
Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, September 19, 2006.
UMM's members were joined by church members and
visitors from our community, including members of
King's Academy football team.
Coach
Baker shared his view as to the current state of
University of South Carolina "Gamecocks"
football team and shared several football teams'
anecdotes with the crowd. He also shared his strong
belief that Christ, religion and faith should be an
integral part of our daily lives. We all, in our own
unique way, must let the "light" within us
SHINE!
After
his speech, everyone enjoyed refreshments and an
obvious fellowship was felt and shared by all
present.
