At LUMC you can become as involved as you like ― from worshipping on Sunday mornings, to belonging to study groups and fellowship groups, to working in one of several service groups, to teaching Sunday School, to a dozen other opportunities.

Our congregation is diverse in many ways. Our ages range from infants to senior citizens. There are singles and families, toddlers and young adults. As LUMC continues to grow, newcomers are welcomed by everyone, even those who have been a part of the LUMC family for a half a century and longer. In a community that’s growing as rapidly as Batesburg-Leesville, it’s good to have those who bring a sense of continuity and history to our midst.
